Air Force AU-ABCThe Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) was established to create partnerships between Air University and accredited civilian academic institutions. This initiative is designed to help Department of the Air Force (DAF) personnel advance their education beyond the associate (AAS) degree they obtain through the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF). Airmen and Space Professionals—whether enlisted, separated, or retired—can explore bachelor’s degree programs that align with their military education and training, making it easier to pursue an efficient path toward earning a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution.

ECPI University and AU-ABC

ECPI University is a Category III institution. All Air Force and Space Force students, regardless of their CCAF degree's technical core, will be accepted into the ECPI BS degree program associated with their CCAF AAS program. ECPI University will review all credits earned through the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) to apply the greatest possible number of credits to one of our approved AU-ABC bachelor's degrees. As a Category III institution, ECPI will require CCAF AAS graduates to complete more than 60 semester hours of credit beyond the AAS and meet all other AU-ABC degree program requirements. Once official transcripts are received, students receive a Transfer Credit Evaluation notification that outlines the applicable transfer credits and remaining degree requirements.

Through our year-round schedule, students can earn their Bachelor's degree in as little as 2.5 years. Transferring credits can help you further reduce the time it takes to complete your program and get started in your new career. This unique distinction can set you apart from your peers attending colleges who are limited to traditional semester schedules.

* Active Duty Air Force, Space Force, Reserve, or Air Guard using Tuition Assistance for the CCAF AU ABC or GEM programs will pay $250 per credit hour.
