Virginia Beach, VA – ECPI University is pleased to announce the opening of a campus in the Short Pump area of Richmond at 11104 W Broad St., Glen Allen, Virginia, 23060.
For over 30 years, ECPI University has been offering hands-on education in Richmond, and has two additional campuses located at 2809 Emerywood Parkway and 800 Moorefield Park Dr.
The new ECPI University - Innsbrook campus offers the following programs of study:
- Cyber and Information Security (Information Technology)
- Engineering Technology (Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics)
- BSN in Nursing - (BSN)
- New! Culinary Arts - (Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Culinary Nutrition, Food Service Management)
- Business Management
“It is our goal to provide students and employers a variety of convenient, hands-on, career-focused options,” says ECPI University President Mark Dreyfus. “Whether upgrading skills, changing careers or starting a new one, our programs are designed to meet and support the needs of adult learners. The new campus will expand our lab space and allow us to add course offerings.”
ECPI University - Innsbrook will begin offering classes for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This accelerated program allows a student to earn a full bachelor’s degree in just 30 months.
“We are excited about the new possibilities a larger, more central location provides,” said ECPI University Chief Operating Officer Barbara Larar. “We have a robust nursing program, having graduated over 1,000 nurses in Virginia last year. ECPI University - Innsbrook will have our signature, high engagement labs that give our nursing students immersive experience through patient simulation and virtual reality.”
The expanded footprint will allow for the expansion of the Culinary Institute of Virginia (CIV), ECPI University’s College of Culinary Arts, to Richmond. CIV is expanding from Hampton Roads to service the growing hospitality sector in the greater Richmond area. CIV classes will be offered this spring.
