ECPI University Expanding to Address Continued Nursing Shortage
Charleston, SC – ECPI University’s Charleston Campus is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its new Nursing (RN) program. Patti Steele, Director of Nursing at ECPI University’s Charleston campus says, “What’s more, advances in healthcare technology and a growing focus on preventative medicine will exacerbate the situation.”
ECPI University’s College of Nursing is one of the largest in Virginia and the Carolinas. Its skills-based laboratory environment provides students with a realistic setting where they can learn both the art and science of nursing with a focus on the application of theory to clinical practice. In as little as 18 months, they can earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing, which qualifies them to take the NCLEX-RN exam through the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
