Event Draws More than 2,000 Job Seekers, Registration Now Open to Employers
Columbia, SC – For the third consecutive year, ECPI University’s Columbia campus is leading a coalition of community organizations to host the South Carolina Midlands Job Fair. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 from 9 am to 3 pm at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, located at 1101 Lincoln Street.
Held in conjunction with area Chambers of Commerce, including South Carolina, Greater Columbia, Greater Cayce West Columbia, Greater Lexington, and Newberry County, as well as the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, U.S. Army, and Alpha Media, this event is devoted to professional job seekers and open to the public.
Last year’s event drew 106 employers and more than 2,000 job seekers. “We are very pleased with what we have been able to accomplish over the past three years, says ECPI Columbia Campus President James Rund. “Helping someone find a job is a truly gratifying experience.”
