Enterprise Partnership Program FAQs
ECPI University has a long standing history of strong partnerships with some of the country’s leading employers and organizations. In developing these partnerships, we’ve been able to provide our students and employees with career-focused, industry based experiences and opportunities that will serve them well in their academic and professional lives through what we call the Education Partnership Program. We’re answering the most commonly asked questions about this program below!
I heard about the ECPI University Partnership Program (EPP). Who is eligible for this program?
The EPP is available to you through your employer if they are part of our partnership. ECPI University partners with hundreds of companies across the country who want to offer additional education benefits to their employees. Ask your Human Resources Representative or contact our Admissions team directly to find out if your employer is a partner.
My company is a partner. What does that mean for me?
If you are a regular employee, it means you are eligible for the ECPI University scholarship match. If your company offers Tuition Assistance or Tuition Reimbursement, the University will match your employer’s contribution, allowing your existing benefits to go further. The EPP match can cover up to 15% of your total tuition and fees, and your registration fees are also waived.
What is the difference between Tuition Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement?
Tuition Assistance is an education benefit that is usually paid directly to the University, towards your tuition fees, reducing the amount billed to you. Tuition Reimbursement is an amount paid back to you, after your classes are completed and satisfactory grades have been submitted.
What if my company doesn’t offer Tuition Assistance or Tuition Reimbursement?
If you are working for a partnered company, but they don’t offer Tuition Assistance or Reimbursement, or if you are not eligible, you can always make a private payment to ECPI University towards your tuition fees, and your contribution will also be matched (up to 15%). This is also the case for dependents of the employees that want to take advantage of the EPP.
Are my dependents also eligible? Who does that include?
Your dependents are immediate family members that live in your household, such as spouse, children, or anybody else you claim on your tax return. If they are interested in studying at ECPI University, they would also be eligible for a private payment match from ECPI University.
What are my next steps?
The first thing is to apply to ECPI University, for the program you are interested in if you haven’t already. Your Admissions Advisor, as well as your Financial Advisor, should be able to verify that your company is a partner, and get you started on the process.
