Endurance IT Services Expands in Virginia Beach

New Jobs Well-Suited for ECPI University Graduates

Endurance IT Services has announced it is building a new headquarters facility and will more than double its current staff, mostly those who work in the technology field. Founded in 2008, the company provides infrastructure services, IT staffing and consulting, project management, and managed services for private-sector customers.

According to a report in Virginia Business magazine, Endurance IT expects to hire 62 additional employees with average annual salaries in the range of $85,000 to $95,000. New positions include:

  • Help desk engineer
  • Server engineer
  • Network engineer
  • Project managers
  • Systems analyst
  • Fractional IT director
  • Business development
  • Business analyst
  • Infrastructure engineer

  • Cyber and Network Security – Administer, manage, or troubleshoot hardware, software, or services for single, mixed, and multi-user environments. Use cyber security measures to protect data and manage personnel conduct in relation to safeguarding data.
  • Cloud Computing – Virtualize servers and clients, create storage solutions, utilize cloud technologies, and deploy thin applications for large, medium, and small organizational networks. 
  • Web Development – Develop and manage compelling and effective content with digital media optimized for web-based delivery, accessible web page interfaces, interactive and data-driven web pages, and animated graphics.
  • Database Programming – Develop proficiency in the use of various programming languages, knowledge of application software and operating systems, database design and scripting.
  • Software Development – Develop efficient and scalable programs, mobile and web applications, and cloud-based software using languages and technologies such as Java, C#, Objective-C, Python, iOS, Android, jQuery, Google App Engine, BigTable, and MongoDB.
  • IT Management – Strategically manage and utilize technology while implementing changes essential to today's global business environment.

For those looking to take their skills to the next level, ECPI University also offers Master of Science degree programs in Information Systems and Cybersecurity.
