Virginia Beach, VA – All ECPI University campuses have been chartered by the Golden Key International Honour Society, a worldwide academic honors organization that also charters the University of Virginia, William & Mary, Virginia Tech, Old Dominion University and many other schools around the country and the globe.
The ECPI University charter covers all of the school’s campuses in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Online. Established in 1977, Golden Key recognizes academic excellence at the undergraduate and graduate level. To become a member, students have to have a minimum 3.7 GPA and at least 30 credits.
“This designation by Golden Key is exemplary of our commitment to excellence and an honor to the university and especially for all of our students,” says Mark Dreyfus, President of ECPI University.
Golden Key, www.goldenkey.org, is the world's largest collegiate honor society. Membership into the Society is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of college and university sophomores, juniors and seniors, as well as top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based solely on the their academic achievements. Golden Key has chapters at over 400 colleges and universities in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, The Bahamas and the United States.
