What Jobs are Available for MSIS Graduates?

Network Service Engineer
Your job will be to design, implement, maintain, and in other ways support the network infrastructure within a company. You will likely operate within a team, so good interpersonal skills are a must. Your responsibilities will include configuring and installing various network devices, performing system upgrades, monitoring network performance, ensuring optimum resource utilization, troubleshooting problems, reviewing and updating the company's management policies towards the network, and communicating with vendors and other IT professionals on behalf of the company.
You need to be able to prove you have had previous, hands-on experience in the field, as well as a deep knowledge of the OSI or TCP/IP model, and a CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certificate.
Server Administrator

Database Analyst
You will be in charge of storing the company's data in physical databases, whose upkeep will be your responsibility. Your duties will include studying user requirements and working with your team to fulfill those needs, maintaining and updating the data dictionary, actively working towards keeping client information confidential, and attending technical workshops to stay on top of the latest developments in the world of data storage.
You will also have to keep an eye on the hardware equipment and deal quickly and efficiently with malfunctioning wares. The protection of the database will depend upon you and your team. You will have to design different levels of access to the data for members of the company of varying importance.
You need to have prior experience with database performance tuning, requirement analysis, software development fundamentals, security management, documentation skills, verbal communication techniques, and system administration.
Multimedia Programmer
This job requires a specialist software engineer who is able to use creative flair as well as technical ability to produce digital products that are innovative and attractive for consumers, such as flash-based websites, apps, and animations.
You will work with several types of media, and need to be familiar with creating and editing projects on all the different platforms, as well as how to use different platforms for the same project. Having worked with 3D modeling before can be considered a huge plus.
